Marine Urea (AUS40), also Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), is an aqueous urea solution produced with high purity urea and deionised water. This catalyst is used in the SCR system which helps to reduce the level of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust emissions produced by the marine diesel engines and power plants, allowing these industries to comply with the regulations for NOx emissions.
