Importance of AUS40 for ship

China's economy continues to develop rapidly and the demand for oil resources continues to grow in recent years. According to statistics, China's oil consumption in 2013 was about 490 million tons, resulting in more and more significant air pollution.

The severe haze in winter in some cities of China has become more and more prominent and its frequency is also higher and higher. We have begun to pay attention to the pollution caused by the exhaust gas of marine diesel that these pollutants bring carcinogenic ingredients into the human body and cause respiratory diseases. At the end of the compression stroke, the traditional diesel engine injects diesel into the combustion chamber, the fuel and air in the combustion chamber are mixed unevenly. Due to the partial lack of enough oxygen for combustion, carbon monoxide (CO) and black smoke are easily formed, the incomplete combustion fuel is also converted into HC and discharged into the atmosphere.

The central part of the spray is the fuel rich area which causes some areas of the combustion chamber to generate very high combustion temperature to form nitrogen oxides (NOx). At the same time, the marine diesel engine uses a large number of inferior heavy diesel which contains a large amount of sulfur, burned to generate sulfide (SOx) and discharged into the atmosphere. Due to the use of poor fuel, a large number of black smoke particles are also produced. Both of them have strong corrosiveness and also have stimulation effect on human physiology which can cause great harm. Due to the upgrading of marine large-scale diesel technology, the ratio of excess air coefficient is increased and the combustion is relatively perfect, so the amount of carbon monoxide and unburned diameter in the exhaust gas of marine diesel is relatively small. The main harmful emissions are no X and so X. Therefore, the limitation of marine diesel emission is mainly the limitation of NOx, sulfide and soot particles.

Since 2000, IMO has implemented strict NO x emission standards.

In October, 2008, IMO's newly amended Annex VI of MARPOL convention put forward three stage limits on NOx emission and sulfur content of fuel oil. EverBlue provide the high qualiy AUS40 for the marine ship to lower emission effectively.
