A potential problem facing the consumers of AdBlue® is the issue of dilution. By definition, Diesel Exhaust Fluid or AdBlue®, is comprised of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionised water. However, in order to obtain a greater mark up when selling AdBlue®, there may add more water, and consequently diluting the AdBlue®.
