AdBlue® Export Policy in China
Since October 21, China has implemented export control on special raw materials for AdBlue®. The General Administration of Customs issued Announcement No. 81 on October 11st,2021, stating that since October 15, the customs supervision condition "B" will be added to 29 10-digit customs commodity numbers involving export fertilizers, and the customs will implement export commodity inspections on related commodities , which includes urea (within the quota, whether or not the aqueous solution).
In the early stage of AdBlue® export control, due to insufficient preparation of AdBlue® export manufacturers, the export of AdBlue® was blocked. The customs supervision and audit of AdBlue® export took time, so there were "urea shortages" in many regions. As manufacturers are familiar with the export policy of AdBlue®, the export of AdBlue® is gradually recovering.
