1.Background of AdBlue


In recent years, haze pollution has occurred in many places in my country, and motor vehicle exhaust emissions account for an average of 20% to 25% of the cause of haze weather. The annual national motor vehicle emissions reach 57 million tons, including nitrogen oxides, monoxide and particulate matter, of which nitrogen oxides and particulate matter emitted by automobiles exceed 85%, and hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide exceed 70%.


In addition, heavy-duty diesel vehicles, which account for less than 20% of car ownership, emit about 60% of nitrogen oxides. Regarding the treatment of motor vehicle exhaust emissions, in addition to speeding up the upgrade of the quality of refined oil, the country has also proposed a national IV standard for diesel vehicles. Therefore, it is even more required to actively promote and adopt the advanced technology of emission post-treatment-the SCR system.



2.The birth of the AdBlue



Because the environmental protection departments of various countries propose to further reduce the nitrogen oxide pollutants emitted by diesel engines. Commonly known as the European IV standard in China.

Engine manufacturers began to use SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology) to meet the requirements of environmental protection agencies. Targeted technical research on the reducing agent required by the SCR emission post-treatment technology, resulting in the birth of a high-quality standard adblue def.



3.Features



The qualified AdBlue is NOX synthesized with 32.5% ultra-purity urea and pure water, which is suitable for all Euro IV and Euro V emission diesel engine SCR systems.

AdBlue is converted into nitrogen, oxygen and water through selective catalytic reduction reaction with NOX products, thereby reducing nitrogen oxide emissions; 100L diesel requires 4L AdBlue.



4.Development status


The SCR system includes a urea tank (loaded with diesel engine exhaust gas treatment fluid) and an SCR catalytic reaction tank. The operation process of the SCR system is: when nitrogen oxides are found in the exhaust pipe, the urea tank automatically sprays urea solution,then reactions in the SCR catalytic reaction tank with nitrogen oxides undergo oxidation-reduction , resulting in no Contaminated nitrogen and water vapor are discharged.


If the AdBlue is not loaded, or the purity is not enough, or the quality is fake, the vehicle engine will automatically decelerate. At the same time, low-quality AdBlue will contaminate the catalyst in the SCR catalytic reaction tank, causing serious consequences.
