How does urea solution work in the truck?

Urea solution for vehicles is an environmentally friendly product, and it is used on trucks to control exhaust pollution. It can be said that users have contributed to environmental protection, but it has to be said that urea solution for vehicles has also brought a lot of trouble to users and increased costs. , The failure rate is high, and it crystallizes at every turn. Many users also complain that it is difficult to serve vehicles with the new emission policy. Today, I would like to share with you how the urea solution for vehicles works in the whole cycle of the truck.

The vehicle urea solution is added to the truck through a vehicle urea filling machine or a small barrel-packed diversion tube. If it is a national six vehicle, when the vehicle urea solution is added to the vehicle, there will be a vehicle urea quality sensor to detect the quality of the vehicle urea , if the standard is not met, there will be an alarm prompt. At this time, the vehicle urea is in a "sleep" state on the cart.

After the vehicle is started, the urea system does not start working immediately. The urea system meets several conditions:
① The engine is running normally;
②The temperature inside the urea tank is greater than -4°C, if not satisfied, the urea tank will be heated;
③ There is no post-processing related failure; the urea system can enter the next stage normally only after the conditions are met.

The so-called pressure building stage is simply to let the solution in the urea system pipeline circulate under pressure. This stage serves two purposes
① The urea solution for vehicles is circulated and prepared for spraying;
②Cool the urea nozzle. After the pressure building is successful and the pressure is stable, the urea system enters the next working stage.

In the injection stage, the system will calculate the injection quantity and injection timing according to the exhaust temperature of the engine, exhaust gas flow, nitrogen oxide content, etc., and order the nozzle to inject. The urea solution for spraying vehicles needs to meet the following conditions:
①The pressure in the urea pipeline for vehicles must meet the requirements;
② Exhaust gas temperature reaches 200 degrees Celsius;
③ The urea injection system is free from failure;
④ The nitrogen and oxygen content of the tail gas exceeds a certain value;

After spraying urea solution for vehicles, urea (CO(NH2)2) will be decomposed and transformed into ammonia gas (NH3) at high temperature. The nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas of diesel vehicles react with ammonia gas to form nitrogen and water. The chemical reaction is: 2CO (NH2)2+4NH3+O2=2CO2+4N2+4H2O. At this stage, the mission of vehicle urea solution is completed.

However, it should be noted that when the vehicle stops, do not close it immediately, and give the vehicle urea solution in the pipeline time to flow back to the urea tank. The urea solution in the pipeline is bound to crystallize and freeze easily.
